Job Description

West Texas A&M University is looking for a tenure track Assistant Professor of Criminal Justice to teach undergraduate and graduate level courses in criminal justice. This position is a ten month position.

The candidate will be expected to prepare course for face to face and online formats. In addition, the candidate will be expected to learn the Blackboard academic management system.

Necessary Qualifications

General requirements for this position are a Ph.D. in Criminal Justice, Criminology, or Criminal Justice Administration.

Additional knowledge, skills and abilities include a developed research agenda and a plan to attain tenure.

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred requirements are prior classroom and online teaching experience at a college or university and some practical experience in a criminal justice agency.
