Job Description


The Department of Art, Theatre and Dance at West Texas A&M University seeks to establish a pool of qualified applicants for future, part-time appointments as teachers of Studio Art, Art History, Introduction to Theatre, and Dance.

Teach one to four sections of assigned courses on campus as needed by the department. Hold office hours and assist students as needed.

Necessary Qualifications

A Master’s Degree in Art, Studio Art, Theatre or Dance, as appropriate to the position to be filled, is required. Applicants holding a Master’s degree in a closely related field such as Education or Communication must have at least 18 hours of coursework at the graduate level in courses with an Art, Theatre or Dance prefix. Applicants must be available to teach courses on campus.
